A.A. Frias Architect Inc. is a full-service architectural design firm based in Ajax, Ontario.
Incepted in 2016, borne out of pure love of architecture. The passion has grown into being an active participant in many fields of architecture in various scale and form, working progressively in local mainstream architecture and international context.
The firm has taken pride in being involved with design and administering of new construction, renovation and adaptive re-use projects in the area of architecture, interiors, heritage both independently and with other design professionals.

The Team
Principal Architect
Ambrosio A. Frias, Jr. OAA, UAP, MRAIC, Architect
A seasoned architect with international work experience across Canada and Asia. His experience spans over 25 years of diverse practice rooted in design excellence, structural efficiency, and cultural stewardship. His comprehensive background spans a broad typology of projects-from custom single family residences, low to medium-rise multi-family developments to high-impact retails spaces, commercial, business office interior fit-outs, and large scale industrial transformations.
A recognized specialist in heritage preservation. He possesses extensive expertise in navigating complex municipal frameworks under the Ontario Heritage Act. His involvement includes high-profile adaptive reuse, building conservation and heritage structure relocations in Toronto and within Ontario. Complementing his private sector expertise, he has contributed tkey architectural and engineering solutions to critical urban transit and infrastructure projects.
